Role Overview As a Tax Staff Accountant, you'll work alongside experienced CPAs serving individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations. You'll gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns while building technical knowledge, professional confidence, and meaningful client relationships. In this role, you will: Prepare federal and state tax returns for a variety of clients Gather, organize, and review client tax and financial information Communicate with clients regarding routine tax questions and document requests Work closely with mentors and team members on client engagements Progress toward CPA licensure and long-term career goals This role is ideal for recent or upcoming accounting graduates looking to launch their careers with a firm that values mentorship, professional development, and long-term growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or nearing completion) CPA candidate or intent to pursue licensure Public accounting internship experience (Preferred) Willingness to travel and work additional hours during busy seasons Compensation & Benefits Hybrid schedule available after initial onboarding period Flexible work hours and three weeks of PTO Seven paid holidays plus additional office closures (2 weeks) CPA assistance, paid GSCPA membership, and CPE Tuition reimbursement and ongoing mentorship Retirement plan with employer contribution Medical and supplemental insurance Weekly team lunches and firm events #J-18808-Ljbffr
