Boston Standard is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber who knows how to diagnose a problem, talk to homeowners, present the right options and get the job done right.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service and repair residential plumbing systems
• Handle water heaters, tankless systems, faucets, toilets, piping, leaks, sump pumps and other residential plumbing needs
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend the right solutions
• Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners
• Provide estimates and present repair and replacement options
• Complete repairs and installations safely and correctly
• Keep customers informed throughout the job
• Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
• Keep your truck, tools and work area organized
• Deliver a great customer experience from start to finish

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working directly with homeowners
• Comfortable presenting options and recommendations to customers
• Knowledge of water heaters, tankless systems, fixtures, piping and common residential plumbing repairs
• Massachusetts plumbing license preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Dependable, professional and ready to be part of a team
